CPR and AED certification for everyone on your floor, not just your trainers

Trainers, group-fitness instructors, front desk, lifeguard support and management. CPRCL certifies your whole staff through online AHA-aligned coursework plus an on-site skills check, so coverage doesn't depend on who happens to be working.

Your trainers are already certified. That's the problem.

Most personal trainers hold a current CPR/AED card, because the major certifying bodies require it to keep their credential active. So facilities assume they're covered.

Then look at an actual Tuesday at 6am, or a Sunday afternoon: the person nearest the floor is a front-desk attendant, a group-fitness instructor between classes, or a shift lead. The trainer with the card may be in a session in another room, or not in the building at all.

Coverage isn't a function of your best-credentialed employee. It's a function of who is standing there.

The AED question

01

Staff complete the coursework on their own schedule.

Official AHA-aligned modules, done between shifts rather than in a booked-out training day.

02

We run a one-on-one hands-on skills check.

The Go-Kit opens on a table, a mat or the floor — adult and infant manikins, bag-valve masks, and live compression-rate feedback on a tablet.

Each person receives a nationally recognized AHA eCard.

Issued individually and verifiable, with a roster of who is current and renewal reminders for what is coming due.

Many states require AEDs in health clubs and fitness facilities, and a number of those laws also require trained staff on site during operating hours. Requirements differ significantly state to state, so check yours — but the pattern is consistent: the device and the trained person are treated as a pair, not as alternatives.

An AED on the wall with nobody confident enough to open it is the worst of both outcomes: the cost of compliance without the benefit of it.

Why gyms don't train the whole staff — and how that changes

No hour when everyone is in.

Fitness staffing is part-time, high-turnover and spread across early mornings, evenings and weekends. A traditional class asks you to find one hour that doesn't exist.

Coursework done individually.

Staff complete the online portion on their own time, wherever they are.

We come to the floor.

The Go-Kit sets up in a studio, on the turf or in a spin room between classes.

Checked off one at a time.

People are verified as they come on and off shift, so nothing stops running.

For multi-location operators and franchises

Redeemable license packs are bought once and drawn down across locations, so a franchisee with four studios or an operator with thirty clubs isn't negotiating site by site.

New hires get a license assigned in their first week rather than waiting for a quarterly class.
